Gucci Mane and French Montana join Travis Scott in the Super Bowl festivities.
Gucci Mane, French Montana, Tiësto and Kaskade will join the list of confirmed performers for this year’s Super Bowl in Atlanta. Please be advised, Gucci Mane and the three other performers are not being tapped to perform in the half-time number spearheaded by Maroon 5 and special guests Travis Scott and Big Boi. Instead, Gucci & friends will be playing The H.wood Group’s annual Bootsy Bellows “Big Game Experience” pop-up show. The H.wood Group’s co-founder John Terzian spoke to Variety about this year’s festivities (kicking off Thursday, January 31).
“We felt we could provide an incredible experience wherever Super Bowl is, by taking over a local place and making it a ‘Bootsy Bellows,'” Terzian says. His reason for such a varied and eclectic lineup is simple; Terzian labels it “a perfect mix of hip-hop and EDM.” “We purposely mixed different genres,” he explains, “and we also chose some of our closest supporters.”
If you are among those who wittingly support the NFL in 2019, there appears to be plenty at stake on Super Bowl Weekend. And on another note, tickets for the game itself remain available on re-sale outlets such as StubHub and SeatGeek. It might not be too late your TV-oriented plans for the Bowl, otherwise, the game airs on Sunday, February 3 on CBS.
